Do not become a means of Fun before eyes of everyone else!
No Doubt present time is of “Fashion” and “Modernization” in the name of clothes, shoes, jewelry, make-up, so much so that in everything, in the name of fashion and custom such master pieces are coming before us that what to talk about them??? Everybody desires that he is completely ready as per the prevailing time and fashion, but! Have you ever thought that such fashion which makes you involved in irritation and restlessness, starts giving you trouble both physically and mentally and you become a laughing stock before others then, is it appropriate to adopt it?
No, not at all! Below, we are pointing out some general behaviours which are carried out in the name of fashion but actually results in ruining of one’s being attractive and spoils attraction of a person e.g.
Face without any make-up, what to say of it!
Sharp sunshine and during intense heat wearing clothes of colours like red, yellow, orange, shocking pink and going out, does not leave a good impression on others.
During a ceremony in day time, dark make-up is not appreciated, and light make-up is better, whereas what to say of a face clean from make-up, whether you are going to some gathering or as a guest in someone’s house, going anywhere before evening and doing a moderate make-up can only save you from becoming a laughing stock.
Don’t wear such clothes which don’t go with your personality and age!
If such clothes, designs or style is adopted due to fashion which is not appropriate as per Shariah or occasion, weather and age, never looks good, wearing such clothes and then thinking that one will be appreciated is a big misunderstanding. Just adopting whatever the in fashion is, it is not wise at all.
Shoes should be comfortable, do not look at the delicacy and good appearance!
Wearing any shoe or sandal which looks good to you or to others but which gives you pain, your heel start aching or the foot is injured or you feel pain while walking, then this will be a stupid decision. Shoes should always be comfortable and one should not look at its appearance. One should look if it is comfortable and durable, disturbed way of walking can ruin all the fashion.
Such fashion! Is not fashion rather trouble
No doubt your hair and its style contribute a lot to make one attractive, but such hair style which irritates you continuously in your household affairs or in some ceremony, so that you are only busy in taking care of your hair, then such fashion will not be a fashion rather a trouble.
It is better to stay away from such fashion!
Now let’s come to the jewelry which you like to buy, but you will regret wearing it. Oh! It is stuck in my Dupatta, thread is coming out! Oh, it is heavy on my ears etc. etc. then it is better to stay away from such fashion which disturbs one’s peace.
Do not be misled by fashion!
Now a days “hand bags” are available in the market of various varieties. Big and more big, smaller than small and each one more stylish than others, you can also buy as per your interest, but what is the use of such bag which slips from the shoulder again and again or if you put something in it, it just gets lost inside, or so small that two things come into the purse but four things have to be held by hands. Keep in mind, your need and personality, do not be misled by fashion.
Destruction of fashionable lens
There is lot of fashion of cosmetic lens but if these are not as per your skin colour and shape of your face, then they look pretty bad and artificial like green or blue lens with medium complexion, in this way the natural beauty of a personality is ruined. Further if we start writing about the lens used for fashion then perhaps the space will not be enough and further you will just go on reading the destruction caused by fashion. Readers! Fashion is for improving one’s personality and is not for ruining it.
Expensive glasses can also distort your personality!
It is very reasonable to use sunglasses for one’s interest or for intense sunshine, but if its selection is not done as per the shape and size of the face then even the most expensive sunglasses will not suit your personality. Apparently these are minor things but are very important to take care of a personality. It is not at all wise just to copy someone as just copying someone’s fashion or style will not necessarily make you happy rather can result in many critical eyes and one gets angry on oneself that why did I purchase such a thing? Why adopted such style which caused so much irritation.
Do fashion but considering the Shariah
Try to understand your personality first, critically, do adopt fashion but taking shariah into consideration, it is not necessary to adopt any fashion which appeals to you, yes if there is no contradiction with Shariah then do adopt but only such styles which look good upon you, wasting money in the name of fashion is not appropriate at all and then at the cost of your personality and sin, is not a good deal at all.
